Justice Estates & Infrastructure is a new national forum dedicated to the future of the justice estate.

Building on the proven success of Education Estates®, this event will bring together senior leaders responsible for the planning, performance and renewal of the prison, court, probation and tribunal estate.

We are currently engaging with sector leaders and partners to help shape the programme.

Arcadis are excited to be a founding partner of Justice Estates & Infrastructure. Working with the Ministry of Justice over decades we’re proud to have helped deliver capital investment at all scales, improved the sustainability and safety of the estate, helped design and implement transformation and enabled improved estate operation. Justice Estates & Infrastructure presents an invaluable and timely opportunity for the sector to collaborate, learn from one another and collectively improve the way the justice estate is delivered and operated. We’re looking forward to making new connections and strengthening partnerships which will continue to contribute to a safer more reliable estate and a more sustainable and efficient system that provides swift access to justice and prioritises rehabilitation whilst protecting the public.

Melissa Dudley - Sector Director - Justice & Borders, Kier

We are excited to be a Sponsor Partner for the inaugural Justice Estates & Infrastructure event, bringing further focus to the critical infrastructure in this sector at such a pivotal time.

Building on the success of the prison expansion programme and delivery of the UK’s first all-electric prison at Millsike, this event provides a valuable platform to bring together policy leaders, operational experts, and industry partners to discuss the future of the justice estate.

We particularly welcome the focus on pathways to employment, and the important role industry can play in supporting justice reform. Making Ground is our prison engagement and employment initiative supporting people as they prepare for life beyond custody. Through skills development, meaningful partnerships, and improved access to work opportunities, we can help reduce reoffending and create better outcomes for individuals, communities, and society.

We look forward to sharing our experience, continuing to collaborate with partners across the sector, and contributing to solutions that support a safe, modern, and future- ready justice estate.
